iPhone Game Engineer
iPhone Game Engineers are responsible for developing and localizing game content for Apple iPod and iPhone devices. We are looking for Mid-level to Advanced-level candidates. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years experience in the game industry working in video game console or Macintosh OS X development.
Responsibilities
- Developing and localizing games for a variety of Apple iPod and iPhone devices.
- Optimizing the performance of games and integrating new features as required.
- Creating and maintaining utilities for use in development.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Working closely with the development, design, and QA teams to meet completion deadlines for each project.
- Integrating change requests and play-testing feedback.
Specialized Knowledge/Expertise Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a programmer for console video games or Macintosh OS X.
- Highly proficient in C/C++ and Objective C.
- Experience using OpenGL in development and proficient in 3D programming
- Strong familiarity with the Macintosh OS X developer environment (Cocoa and related APIs).
- Passionate gamer and creative problem solver.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
- Experience with OpenAL, Assembly and Network programming a plus.
