Qualify for one of the eight starting positions by completing the qualifying lap with the time limit. Finish the qualifying lap at top speeds and the best time to earn the coveted Pole Position, the prime starting spot in the race. If you qualify, your car will appear in the starting position you earned and the race is on!
Skidding causes your car to slow down. Gun it on the straight-aways.
If rival cars are blocking both lanes, try threading between them, or slow down for a moment until the pack breaks up.
Memorize the locations of billboards!
Driving on the shoulder or through puddles slows you down.
Manual downshifting makes it easier to take hairpin turns.
