How to Play
Goal:
Hone your tile swapping skills in order to earn a bigger budget for your movie! With your accumulated budget, hire a professional cast and crew, and then purchase props for your film! Create your vision by scaling your props in size, placing your actors on the stage, and arranging them all as you see fit!
Rules and Scoring:
- Earn more cash for your movie budget by making matches and using bonuses:
- Regular Tiles - $1
- Gold Tiles - $100
- Popcorn - $10
- Finish the level faster for an added Time Bonus!
- Special items will help you earn your budget much faster:
- Wind Effect Fan - Shuffles a 3x3 tile area.
- Hammer - Destroys any tile on the board.
- Dynamite - Eliminates all pieces of one type on the board.
- Shuffle - Use it to shuffle all pieces on the board.
- Sandbag - Creates a MASSIVE explosion.
- Gift Box - Activates a special surprise. Each genre's is unique!
- Some tiles must be handled differently to clear the level:
- Velvet Ropes - Prevent pieces from falling past any tile they appear in. Match the piece behind these to clear the rope from your path.
- Trunk and Key - Move these two pieces next to each other to unlock a special prop for your movie set!
- Blank Tiles - These tiles are being blocked by a Velvet Rope and cannot be swapped with a regular tile. Clear the rope to fill them in!
Controls:
- Match 3: Click on adjacent pieces to swap them and form a match. If the swap does not result in a match, the pieces will return to their original positions. To use special items such as the Wind Effect Fan and Hammer, click once on the item, and then again where you would like to use it.
- Movie Set: Use the mouse to hire cast and crew, as well as purchase props. On the stage, drag items from their thumbnails to the stage to place them. Right click an object to face it in the other direction. While dragging an object, roll the mouse wheel to scale its size.
Hints & Tips:
- Try using the Wind Effect Fan on a Velvet Rope. You might get blown away!
- The Hammer is quite handy for destroying the hard to reach Gold Tiles in the corners!
- Strapped for cash? Making fast matches will charge your Craze Meter, and you'll earn DOUBLE budget for matches made while it's full!
